Asia Vacation Group Honored as Vietjet’s Authorized Agent

(Melbourne, 4th June 2024) – At Vietjet Air’s new flight launch ceremony, Asia Vacation Group is honoured as the Authorized Agent with Outstanding Performance in the first half of 2024. At this ceremony, Vietjet also announces the new route between Melbourne and Hanoi. The first flight from Hanoi to Melbourne by Vietjet landed on Tuesday, 4 June, marking the airline’s sixth route connecting Vietnam and Australia. 

Two round-trip flights will operate weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, utilizing the wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft. According to Victoria’s Tourism Forecasts 2023-2028, the route between Vietnam’s capital and the most populous city of Australia is expected to contribute to an increase in Aussie travellers visiting Vietnam in the second half of 2024.

The airline currently operates a total of 58 flights per week between the two nations. On June 8, it is set to begin carrying passengers from Sydney to Hanoi and vice versa.
