Hanoi Arrival
Xin chao! You will depart from your home to Hanoi capital by Vietnam Airlines flight today. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Relax and overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi 
Halong Bay
After breakfast, you will leave from Hanoi to Halong Bay, “a spectacular seascape sculpted by nature” by UNESCO due to its breathtaking caves and limestone pillars sitting on the water. Upon arrival, you will board a ship to explore the stunning scenery with a myriad of mysterious caves of all shapes and sizes.
Enjoy lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon, gather at reception area to participate in Kayaking activities at Ao Ech area, or use the swimming pool on the cruise. You will have a chance to take pictures with the cruise by drone at the Sundeck area.
Welcome sunset and enjoy afternoon tea at the swimming pool area.
18h00: Cooking demonstration at the swimming pool area.
18h00 – 19h00: Join the Happy Hour program and the sunset at the Sky Bar area.
19h00: Enjoy an 8-course fine dining menu at the restaurant.

Halong Bay

16h30 – 18h00: Return to the Elite of the Seas – and relax on the cruise.
18h00 – 19h00: Cooking demonstration at the swimming pool area. Join the Happy Hour program, and the sunset at the Sky Bar area.
19h00: Enjoy dinner
20h30: Join the fishing session at the aft of our cruise or relax at our swimming pool, mini-golf course, spa, etc.

Halong Bay Hanoi
Awake early and join a Tai Chi session on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea before exploring nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong Bay from the sundeck. Your driver will meet you at Halong jetty then we drive back to Hanoi.

Riding in a seaplane may seem like an experience straight out of a movie, but anything is possible when you travel with AVG.
For 25-minutes, you will get a birds-eye-view of the worldrenowned Halong Bay including the large limestone formations that ascends from the colourful water.

This morning, you will take a half day Hanoi City Tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (photo spot only, a monumental edifice built to commemorate the Vietnamese Revolutionary leader), One Pillar Pagoda (one of Vietnam’s two most iconic temples), Temple of Literature (known as the first university of Vietnam) and Tran Quoc Pagoda (one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam).
Afterwards, get ready for a flight to Hue old capital. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and spend your relax time in Hue.

Hue
Today, you will spend your day to explore the Imperial Citadel
and the tomb of Tu Duc, the longest-reigning Nguyen Dynasty emperor. Take a Cycle tour to see some of the other sites of Hue. Take a cruise up the placid Perfume River to visit the Tomb of Nguyen Dynasty Emperor Minh Mang and the traditional Thien Mu Pagoda on the banks of the river. Then enjoy the local
life by visiting Dong Ba market. Late afternoon. you will be drive back to the hotel and relax at your hotel.

Hue Hoi An Golden Bridge Tour
Today, you will check out your hotel after breakfast and then head to visit Golden Bridge on Ba Na Mountain. You will travel by cable car up to the Marseille station. Get out and take a short walk to the Golden Bridge – a break point of the trip – to feel like walking among the clouds. Just newly opened to the public in early June 2018 the bridge which was built in the midst of the forest stands out in yellow. Noteworthy, this unique architecture with the bridge image supported by grey hands, creates a beautiful scenery surprised. Time for taking photos and enjoying the easy breeze, breathtaking view and afterwards, we’ll walk further to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour. The 9 gardens are 9 interesting stories in 9 unique architectural styles. These create a poetic and colourful space. Next, walk to visit Linh Ung Pagoda to admire its sophisticated architecture together with a 27m high Shakyamuni statue which brings us peaceful feeling as visiting this place. Finally, we will catch the cable car downhill and then transfer to Hoi An. Check in your hotel and overnight in Hoi An.

You’ll be picked up at your hotel for a 40-kilometre drive to My Son Sanctuary, a World
Heritage Site. On arrival, get ready to be absolutely astounded by the abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed by the kings of the Champa era.
After, we’ll return to Hoi An for a cruise down the Thu Bon River. Enjoy the peaceful and scenic views before stopping off at the famous traditional, Thanh Ha Pottery Village where you’ll get to see the villagers’ daily life.

Today, you will check out your resort and take a flight to the dynamic city of Ho Chi Minh City (fomerly called Saigon). On arrival, check in your hotel and enjoy the night at your leisure.

Ho Chi Minh City Mekong River Cruise Tour
Today you will travel to the Mekong Delta River to explore the unique lifestyle of inhabitants living along the Mekong Delta. Embark on a cruise visiting the regional coconut forest and a home of Vietnamese farmers, handicrafts and culture along the Mekong Delta. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on Turtle Island. Visit fruit and bonsai gardens, a coconut candy workshop and a rice paper mill. Bike ride or travel by horse carriage along the village road and enjoy local delicacies and tropical fruits. You’ll also visit Vinh Trang pagoda, one of the most beautiful ancient pagodas in Mekong Delta before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City this afternoon. This evening is at leisure.

Ho Chi Minh City Cu Chi Tunnels
After breakfast, head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during Vietnam-US war. The tunnel system had become legendary during the 1960s as a strategic military base and underground community life.

Dinner on Saigon River Cruise offers an opportunity to witness another side of Saigon. The city is not only a bustling metropolis but also a romantic land. Hop on a huge wooden barge and sail down the river. Feel the gentle breeze caressing your skin and enjoy a lovely dinner accompanied by the traditional music and dance performances.

Ho Chi Minh City Tour Departure
This morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and some free time. Check out your hotel and then hop on the city tour around Saigon with highlights such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office (photo spot only), War Remnant Museum and soaking up the atmosphere at Ben Thanh market, one of Ho Chi Minh’s liveliest areas. Later afternoon, we will drive you to the airport for flight back home.

How to book and Payments
Asia Vacation Group offers you a “3 Instalment Payment”, you will be required to settle a small deposit followed by a series of installments when you select to book your departure tour.
- First payment: You will be required to settle $300 per person deposit online through our website link.
- Second payment: You will be required to settle the second payment $2,000 per person after 7 days when you receive our company invoice.
- Final payment: Final payment will be collected in 120 days before your departure.
However, you will have 7-day cooling off period. Please refer to “Flexible Cancellation” section.
Flexible Cancellation
If you change your mind within 7 days of making your booking online, you can request a refund of your initial deposit payment. Once your purchase date falls outside of the 7-day period, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
Please ensure that any request to cancel your booking is received via email to [email protected], including the reason for cancellation.
Flight Information
In this packages, we will use Vietnam Airlines for the whole trip from Australia depart from Sydney/Melbourne/Perth and surcharge $400 depart from Brisbane, Adelaide or another city. (23kg for checked baggage per passenger and 7kg hand luggage per passenger, 01-piece check-in baggage).
- Some flights will require a minimum of 1 transit.
- All tickets will include 20 kilos checked baggage per person, along with 7 kilos of hand luggage.
- Despite the airlines baggage allowance, we recommend travelling with 20 kilos per person due to restrictions with internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Also, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters is not included. If travelling over this amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable direct.
- Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable. Any changes will be subject to the airline rules and change fees.
- Full names as per passport (including all middle names) are required.
- Any airline schedule changes or cancellations are beyond our control.
- Any airline ‘extras’ such as pre-allocated seating is at your own arrangement (additional charges apply)
Important Information
Physical Requirements
A reasonable level of fitness is required but it’s more about spending time on your feet rather than covering large distances. You’ll be getting on and off coaches and boats, walking around the sights and climbing some steps.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Tipping is AU$10/person per day. Tipping is collected by agent before travelling or the day of your arrival.

Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 2 blank pages.
A visa is required for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation Group and just need to pay $160 for single entry (30-day-stay-limited)
Children
Children must be 12 month old or above and share a room with parents at all times. Children is up 5 years old are charged the same price as adults.
Tour Documentation
Final documentation, including e-tickets and hotel details, will be provided approximately 30 days prior to travel.
Tour Length
The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.
