Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport which has been awarded to World’s Best in Airport Service Quality by Airport Council International, met by our representative and transfer to Seoul which is the center of politics, economy and culture in Korea. The rest of day is free at your leisure

After breakfast, we pick up at your hotel around 08:30-09:00 am and have a Seoul full day sightseeing such as: Jogyesa temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace (Deoksu Palace on Tue), the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, National Folk Museum, Korean Ginseng Center or Amethyst shop and transfer to Korean Folk village. Korean Folk Village (an hour and half drive away from Seoul) – you will experience the culture of the late Joseon Dynasty. It is huge village that has about 260 different types of house of each province. Late afternoon, return to Seoul and take a rest

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel at 08:00 am and head to DMZ Half day tour (closed on Mon and National Holiday) (please note Passport is required to join). Whilst here, you will explore Imjingak Park, the Unification Bridge and to heading into the DMZ theatre and exhibition hall. After your time at the DMZ, return back to Seoul in time for your included flight to Jeju Island.

On arrival into Jeju, you will be transferred to your accommodation when the rest of the day is as you please.

Today will include a full day of touring around Jeju. Visited sites will include Hyeopjae Beach, Hallim Park where you can enjoy Palm Tree Roda, Juke Stone and Bonsai Garden, Water Garden, Subtropical Garden and others.
You will also visit O’sulloc Tea Museum, opened to create and spread awareness of Korean teas to the world.
After lunch, embark on the Sanbang Mountain Cruise before viewing Cheonjeyeon Falls, named “The Pond of God” which consists of three sections. Late afternoon, return to your hotel for some personal time.

Today, experience what it was like to be part of Korean royalty as you enjoy a horse-riding activity at Seongeup Folk Village, where the culture of Jeju Island is on display. Visit Haenyeo Museum where there is an exhibition detailing the history and expertise of Haenyeo female divers. Their livelihood consists of harvesting a variety of sea life from the ocean floor, including seaweed, mollusks and crustaceans.
From here, continue onto Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak which rises 180 metres above sea level due to an underwater magma flow, over 5,000 years ago, creating a separate island. Over the years, build-up of sand and soil has created a land-bridge to the main island. Next, visit Manjanggul, a stunning cave system that holds great value for science and conservation studies. Despite being formed over one hundred thousand years ago, the cave still maintains well-preserved formations.
Late afternoon, we transfer to Jeju Airport in time for your flight to Busan.
Upon arrival at Busan Airport, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Busan with the highlights such as: Haeundae Beach, known for its beautiful white sand and picturesque coastline. Next, you will head to Yonggungsa Temple, a stunning temple located on the coast of northeastern Busan. Access the temple via Dalmaji-gil Road, a scenic route offering views of the Blue Ocean, white sandy beach, and beautiful Camellia and pine forests. This route is renowned as one of Busan’s eight scenic sites.
Continue your tour at Gamcheon Culture Village, an area known for its distinctive houses built in a stair-like fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. The village is nicknamed the “Machu Picchu of Busan” due to its unique architecture and stunning views.
Then, visit Jagalchi Fishery Market, Korea’s largest seafood market, and experience the vibrant energy of the traditional market. After your Busan tour, transfer to Gyeongju (1.5hrs by car).

In Gyeongju, your first stop will be the Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, a secondary palace used by the crown prince of the Silla Kingdom. Enjoy a night tour of the palace, and witness the beauty of the reflection of Imhaejeon in Wolji during the night.

After breakfast, our driver and tour guide will pick you up to Gyeongju, a museum without walls. In 57 BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the
Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Gyeongju preserves a vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritage. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, its historical district has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Gyeongju National Museum & Cheomgseongdae Astronomical Observatory, Seokguram Grotto
(UNESCO world heritage) – an artificial stone temple made of granites, located on the eastern peak of Mt. Toham. Inside the round-shaped main hall, there are the Bonjon Statue, Bodhi-Sattava and his disciples. It was built to preserve these statues. Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO world heritage) – The beauty of the temple itself and artistic touch of the stone relics are as awesome and fascinating as to be highly praised by visitors from all over the world. Move to Daegu city for overnight which is a largest and central city of this province. Check in at your hoel and spend your free time at leisure.

Accommodation: Daegu Interbulgo-EXCO 4* or similar

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Haeinsa Temple, located in Gayasan National Park. The temple was founded by King Ae-Jang of the Shilla Dynasty in 802 and is well known for its famous treasure, the “Tripitaka Koreana” (UNESCO world heritage). The Tripitaka Koreana is composed of 81,341 printing woodblocks made to repulse the Mongolian Army Invasion with support of Buddha.
After visiting the temple, you will transfer to Andong Hahoe Village, which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Unlike other traditional villages, the Hahoe Village is still inhabited by residents, making it an authentic and unique experience. The village has become world-famous for the visit of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain several years ago.
Finally, you will transfer to Pyeongchang in Gangwon Province, which hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics and is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts. Every winter, millions of tourists come to enjoy the snow-covered hills and slopes.

After breakfast, you will head o Seoraksan National Park of which the peaks break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. UNESCO designated this park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to so many rare species found here. Visit Sinheungsa-temple located in
Mt.Seorak which is an ancient temple with deep historical significance, built by a great monk Jajangyulsa (590~658). (Optional Tour: Gwongeumseong Cable Car–USD20pp). Gwongeumseong is a site of castle ruins located on the steep Dol Mountain of Seoraksan National Park area. After sightseeing of Seoraksan National Park, return to Seoul.

Remark: During the peak season in October, the Seoraksan National Park will restrict buses and medium size bus for entries. Therefore, the bus must park at C District Square and you must walk 3.6km to the entrance from C District Square. So please be aware of that we might not be able to visit Seoraksan National Park for this tour.

After breakfast, you are free time at leisure till we drive to the airport for flight home.

Fine Print

Asia Vacation Group offers you a “Instalment Payment Plan” by 3 steps, you will be required to settle a small deposit followed by a series of instalments when you select to book your departure tour

First payment: You will be required to settle $200 per person deposit online through our website link or bank transfer option
Second payment: You will be required to settle second payment at $1,800 per person with after 7 days.
Final payment: Final payment will be collected at 120 days before your travel and you will only pay when you receive our company invoice.

Flexible Cancellation
If you change your mind within 7 days of making your booking online, you can request a refund of your initial deposit payment. Once your purchase date falls outside of the 7-day period, our standard terms and conditions will apply.

FLIGHTS, UPGRADES & EXTENSIONS
This package includes international flights from Sydney/Melbourne and surcharge from Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth or other city if requested when selecting your departure city.

Interstate Surcharge
Surcharge of $400 for departures from Adelaide & Brisbane & and $500 for departures from Perth
In this packages, we will use some different airlines such as: Qantas Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Jetstar Airlines or similar airlines (20kg for checked baggage per passenger and 7kg hand luggage per passenger, 01-piece check-in baggage).
• Some flights will require a minimum of 1 transit (maximum 2).
• All tickets will include 20 kilos checked baggage per person, along with 7 kilos of hand luggage.
• Despite the airlines baggage allowance, we recommend travelling with 20 kilos per person due to restrictions with internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Also, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters is not included. If travelling over this amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable direct.
• Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable. Any changes will be subject to the airline rules, Airline change fees and an Asia Vacation Group change fee of $250 per person.
• Full names as per passport (including all middle names) are required. Any error in the names submitted will be subject to an Asia Vacation Group name change fee of $150 plus any applicable fees charged by the airline, or the ticket may be non-refundable with the purchase of a new ticket required.
• Any airline schedule changes or cancellations are beyond our control. It is important that you, as the customer, stay up-to-date with the latest airline schedule information prior to your departure. If a schedule change results in extended transits or an earlier/later departure from your destination, any additional accommodation or alternative arrangements will be at the traveler’s expense.
• Any airline ‘extras’ such as pre-allocated seating is at your own arrangement (additional charges apply)
• After booking, the price payable may be subject to change as a result of factors beyond the control of Asia Vacation Group. Asia Vacation Group reserves the right to increase the price payable and this will be reflected on the customer’s invoice. Increases may be in relation to, but not limited to, currency fluctuations, airline taxes, airfare increases and fuel surcharges.
• Internal airfares (where applicable and included in the itinerary) will be using a local carrier and may include low-cost carriers without meals or entertainment. Checked baggage will still be included for each passenger. Any additional baggage required is payable at time of check-in.
• If you are travelling with another party on a separate booking, we cannot guarantee that the same flights will be booked for all parties, as this strictly depends on availability.
• You will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters are not included. If travelling over the recommended amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable directly.
• In the event of that you no-show on your scheduled flight, please be aware the airline will require you to pay a no show fee, Airline reissue fee plus any additional airfare and taxes. Asia Vacation Group will also charge a $250 admin fee to assist re accommodating you on the next available flight. Please note that depending on the airline’s policy, purchasing a new ticket may be required.

Flight requests, amendments or preferences
We understand customers may wish to request changes to their included airfares. If you wish to fly with a certain airline, land at a certain time or change your flight in other ways we will gladly provide you with a personalized quote tailored to your specific requirements.
We would be more than happy to provide you with a quote for the following requests:
– Airline Preferences – You may wish to fly with a particular airline
– Cabin Preferences – These include upgrading to premium economy or business class
– Extensions (start and end cities must remain the same) – You may request to extend your stay pre or post tour.
– Meal Requests – You may request a specific meal for dietary requirements.
– Seat Requests – If you would like to request particular seating. However please note, not all airlines allow the selection of pre-purchased seat arrangements.

Physical Requirements
A reasonable level of fitness is required but it’s more about spending time on your feet rather than covering large distances. You’ll be getting on and off coaches and boats, walking around the sights and climbing some steps.

Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Tipping is AU$10/person per day. Tipping is collected by agent before travelling or the day of your arrival.

Accommodation
The accommodation listed is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard. Bedding configurations (double or twin) are requests only. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences however any changes are beyond our control.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against the unexpected. In addition to the support that a policy may provide, you may be asked to present a copy of your travel insurance documentation while traveling.

Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 2 blank pages.

A visa is required for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation Group and just need to pay $160 for single entry (30-day-stay-limited)

Children
Children must be 5 years old or above and share a room with parents at all times. Children are charged the same price as adults.

Tour Documentation
Final documentation, including e-tickets and hotel details, will be provided approximately 30 days prior to travel.

Tour Length
The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.
