Day 2: Saigon
Cu Chi Tunnels
Spend a half day tour to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during the Vietnam-US war. Afterwards, return to the city centre by early afternoon and explore Saigon’s highlights including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, Independence Palace and have fun shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

Day 3: Saigon Free Day
Optional Tour to Mekong Delta
Today you are free at leisure.

Embark on a cruise to Ben Tre river and visit brickwork, coconut processing workshop, a local village making sleep mattresses. Continue taking a motor cart (xe lôi) or cycling through the green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch is served at the restaurant riverside. In the afternoon, sail through water palm creek by rowboat and get back to Hung Vuong Pier for departing to Saigon.
Day 4: Saigon

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to check in your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An Free Day

Day 6: Hoi An
Hue
After breakfast, get ready for a 2-hour drive to Hue. Upon arrival, visit Imperial Citadel, the Tomb of Tu Duc, Tomb of Nguyen Dynasty and traditional Thien Mu Pagoda. Then take a cruise on the placid Perfume River. Shop at Dong Ba market before checking in your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Hanoi
Halong Bay
Take a 3.5-hour transfer by bus from Hanoi to Halong, one of the World Seven Wonders. On arrival, embark on a boat trip to explore one of the World’s greatest natural wonders with thousands of limestone islands filled with caves of all shapes and sizes.

Accommodation: Overnight Cruise in Halong.
Day 9: Halong Bay
Hanoi
Awake early and join a Tai Chi session on the top deck or simply enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Have a morning cup of coffee or tea before exploring nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk and drive back to Hanoi.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch.
Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi.
Enjoy a walk around the Old Quarter in the afternoon and have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as stuffed pancake, Banh My, stuffed sticky rice balls, the unique egg coffee and many more.
Day 11: Luang Prabang City Tour
Kuangsi Waterfall
Wake up early for observing morning ritual of sarong-clad monks, then visit Royal Palace, Vat Xieng Thong, Vat May, VatVisoun, Vat Aham and Vat Senna. Stand astounded by Kuangsi Waterfall, Ban Na Oune and Ban Tha Pane before coming back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. Climb up Mt. Phousi for the sunset panoramic view on your way back.

Day 15: Siem Reap
Phnom Penh
Today, leave Siem Reap in the morning to Phnom Penh capital (6-hour trip by bus). On arrival, check in your hotel and spend your free time at leisure.

Hop on a private boat to Tonle Sap Lake and visit unique villages with gardens, market, and restaurants all floating on water.

Tipping

Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 6 blank pages.
Australian passport holder is required to have a visa for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation group and just need to pay AUD160 for Vietnam visa single entry.
Once approved, please ensure that you travel with the following documentation as they are required to present to customs upon arrival into the country.

For Cambodia/Laos, you will obtain your visa when crossing the border from Vietnam to Cambodia. The cost of the Cambodian/Laos Visa is around USD$37 per person.

The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.

- Return economy airfare with Vietnam Airlines or similar (including 1 x 20 kg checked baggage and 7 kg hand baggage per passenger).
- Internal airfare with Vietnam Airlines & Laos Airlines or similar
- Customers must send us the electrical copy of passport by scanning or taking the first page of your passport. By this way, we could secure the accuracy of your personal information to make proper reservation for you.
- The airfare is non-refundable at all times.
Flights
- Flight itineraries will be provided only 30 days prior to departure. If you book our tour packages within 30 days, your flight itinerary will be provided within 7 days.
- Airline schedule may change or cancel before the itinerary and it is beyond our control. We will try utmost to assist our customers, however, the customers are also responsible for reviewing your flight schedule prior to the departure. Moreover, you can contact your Travel Insurance provider to check whether you are covered by your policy.
