Day 2
Hanoi City tour 
Halong 
After breakfast, at 10AM, you will have a bustling day to visit a city tour of Hanoi and will explore attractions such as the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda) and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam. Following that, you will go to AVG Food & Beverage, one of Asia Vacation Group’s stores. You will learn about the various types of beef imported from Australia and how to be sold to Vietnamese customers here. Enjoy a free soft drink/beer or wine tasting when you visit. In the afternoon, leave the bustle of the big city and drive to Halong Bay.
On arrive in Tuan Chau Island, check in your hotel and free time at leisure or you might buy an optional tour such as Dinner on Halong Bay Cruise Tour.

Day 3
Halong Bay Cruise Hanoi
Today enjoy a day cruise on Halong Bay: a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters, located in the Gulf of Tonkin. After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Halong harbor to board your private junk cruise for a 4-hour journey. Cruise along the calm waters, between looming, limestone outcrops to visit Dau Go Cave, where, in 1288, one of Vietnam’s most famous generals, Tran Hung Dao, stored hundreds of stakes before battling the invading Mongolian army. A short walk away, visit the newly discovered Thien Cung, famous for its stalagmites and stalactites. Savor a fresh seafood lunch, served on board before sailing back to Tuan Chau harbour, where your transport will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi.

Enjoy a walk around the Old Quarter in the afternoon and appreciate the local lifestyles as you wind through Hanoi’s streets. You will have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as:

Day 4
Hanoi Flight to Danang – Hoi An – Ancient Town visit
Enjoy your free time in the morning before you will leave Hanoi for flight to Danang.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Hoi An. After that, you will explore Hoi An on foot, visiting an old merchant’s home, Hoi An Market, a local Chinese temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. The bridge was first constructed here in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters. Over the centuries the ornamentation has remained relatively faithful to the original Japanese design. The French flattened out the roadway for cars, but the original arched shape was restored in 1986.

Day 5
Hoi An
Today you can enjoy a day of leisure to explore Hoi An or join our optional tours to Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills.

On arrival at the foot of Ba Na Mountain, we’ll travel by cable car up to the Marseille station. Then it’s a short walk to the Golden Bridge which appears to be lifted by two “hands of the Gods”. When you’re on the bridge, you’ll feel like you’re walking on the clouds.
Time for taking photos of the breathtaking view. Afterwards, it’s on to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour. The 9 gardens are 9 stories in 9 unique architectural styles.
Next, it’s time to visit Linh Ung Pagoda to admire its sophisticated architecture and the 27m high Shakyamuni statue.
Finally, we’ll catch the cable car down the hill for the transfer back to Hoi An.

As Vietnam’s largest outdoor visual art-show, Hoi An Memories is guaranteed to amaze. Featuring 500 performers and superb choreography, this open-air theatrical extravaganza tells the story of Hoi An throughout its 400 years of history while shining the spotlight on the traditional ao dai costume and the charming beauty of Vietnamese women.
Right in front of your eyes, Hoi An will transform from a small farming village to an international trading port where East meets West.

Day 6
Hoi An
Today, you are free or you can buy optional tours we suggest below:

You’ll be picked up at your hotel for a 40-kilometre drive to My Son Sanctuary, a World
Heritage Site. On arrival, get ready to be absolutely astounded by the abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed by the kings of the Champa era.
After, we’ll return to Hoi An for a cruise down the Thu Bon River. Enjoy the peaceful and scenic views before stopping off at the famous traditional, Thanh Ha Pottery Village where you’ll get to see the villagers’ daily life.

– Golden Bridge Tour; My Son Sanctuary and Thanh Ha Village Tour cannot be arranged on the same day
– A O Show, Hoi An Cooking Class Tour and Hoi An Memories Show cannot be arranged on the same day. Please choose one only.
Day 7
Hoi An – Da Nang Flight to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, you will have your free time before transferred to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour through Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling streets en route to the hotel. Have lunch at your own and visit the War Remnants Museum, learn about Vietnam’s recent history at Reunification Palace, visit the nearby neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and the City’s Centre Post Office before passing by the ornate Opera Theatre and the City Hall. Finally, end up at the Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste.

Dinner on Saigon River Cruise offers an opportunity to witness another side of Saigon. The city is not only a bustling metropolis but also a romantic land. Day 8
Ho Chi Minh City – Optional tour to Mekong Delta
You are free day today or you buy an optional tour to Mekong Delta.

You will realise quickly why cruising along the Mekong Delta on a boat should be on everyone’s bucket list when travelling to Vietnam.
It is called “The Rice Bowl of Vietnam” because it offers a wide selection of cultural activities including local handcraft and coconut pressing workshops with villagers, cycling through lush rice fields along the water, as well as some down-time chilling in a hammock.
You will also be treated to an authentic lunch.
<!–Mekong Delta is known as “The Rice Bowl of Vietnam” and offers a real experience to the tropical culture of locals. This trip will take you to visit local workshops, a handicraft village and get a unique experience with local activities. Be ready to sail through the coconut trees and take a nap on a hammock in a garden filled with bird chirps and fresh breeze.
You will be picked up at your hotel then take a 1.5-hour transfer to Ben Tre River. Embark on a cruise to brickwork, a coconut processing workshop and a local village making sleep mattresses along the Mekong Delta. Continue taking a motor cart (xe loi) or cycling through the green rice fields and vegetable plains. After lunch, get back to Hung Vuong Pier for returning to Saigon.

You’ll be picked up at your hotel and start off your amazing night with some cocktails and appetizers at Café Zoom. Afterwards, enjoy some of Saigon’s best authentic local food, followed by a stop at a Vietnamese-style coffee shop featuring live music. Your perfect evening will be wrapped up at an exciting music bar where local people party.ㅤ
Day 9
Ho Chi Minh City Cu Chi Tunnels Home
You are free at leisure in the morning.
Check out at your hotel and then visit Cu Chi Tunnels in the afternoon. Explore Cu Chi tunnels. During the Vietnam War, guerrilla fighters built a labyrinth of narrow tunnels, using them to hide in during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving visitors a unique understanding of what life was like during the Vietnam War.
Late afternoon, we drive you to the airport for flight back home. Overnight on Plane.

How to book and Payments
Asia Vacation Group offers you a “Instalment Payment Plan” by 3 steps, you will be required to settle a small deposit followed by a series of instalments when you select to book your departure tour.

- First payment: You will be required to settle US$200 per person deposit online through our website link.
- Second payment: You will be collected US$8,00 per person after 7 day deposit
- Final payment: You will be required to settle the final payment in 120 days before your departure.
However, you will have 7-day cooling off period. Please refer to “Flexible Cancellation” section.
Flexible Cancellation:
If you change your mind within 7 days of making your booking online, you can request a refund of your initial deposit payment. Once your purchase date falls outside of the 7-day period, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
Please ensure that any request to cancel your booking is received via email to [email protected], including the reason for cancellation.
Flight Information
This package excludes international flights from USA.
If you would like to book your international flights with us, please contact or request in the booking form when you make a booking.
- Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable. Any changes will be subject to the airline rules, Airline change fees and an Asia Vacation Group change fee of US$250 per person.
- Full names as per passport (including all middle names) are required. Any error in the names submitted will be subject to an Asia Vacation Group name change fee of US$150 plus any applicable fees charged by the airline, or the ticket may be non-refundable with the purchase of a new ticket required.
- Any airline schedule changes or cancellations are beyond our control. It is important that you, as the customer, stay up-to-date with the latest airline schedule information prior to your departure. If a schedule change results in extended transits or an earlier/later departure from your destination, any additional accommodation or alternative arrangements will be at the traveler’s expense.
- Any airline ‘extras’ such as pre-allocated seating is at your own arrangement (additional charges apply)
- After booking, the price payable may be subject to change as a result of factors beyond the control of Asia Vacation Group. Asia Vacation Group reserves the right to increase the price payable and this will be reflected on the customer’s invoice. Increases may be in relation to, but not limited to, currency fluctuations, airline taxes, airfare increases and fuel surcharges.
- Internal airfares (where applicable and included in the itinerary) will be using a local carrier and may include low-cost carriers without meals or entertainment. Checked baggage will still be included for each passenger. Any additional baggage required is payable at time of check-in.
- If you are travelling with another party on a separate booking, we cannot guarantee that the same flights will be booked for all parties, as this strictly depends on availability.
- You will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters are not included. If travelling over the recommended amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable directly.
- In the event of that you no-show on your scheduled flight, please be aware the airline will require you to pay a no show fee, Airline reissue fee plus any additional airfare and taxes. Asia Vacation Group will also charge a US$250 admin fee to assist re accommodating you on the next available flight. Please note that depending on the airline’s policy, purchasing a new ticket may be required.
Flight requests, amendments or preferences
We understand customers may wish to request changes to their included airfares. If you wish to fly with a certain airline, land at a certain time or change your flight in other ways we will gladly provide you with a personalized quote tailored to your specific requirements.
We would be more than happy to provide you with a quote for the following requests:
Airline Preferences – You may wish to fly with a particular airline
Cabin Preferences – These include upgrading to premium economy or business class
Extensions (start and end cities must remain the same) – You may request to extend your stay pre or post tour.
Meal Requests – You may request a specific meal for dietary requirements.
Seat Requests – If you would like to request particular seating. However please note, not all airlines allow the selection of pre-purchased seat arrangements.

Physical Requirements
A reasonable level of fitness is required but it’s more about spending time on your feet rather than covering large distances. You’ll be getting on and off coaches and boats, walking around the sights and climbing some steps.
Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Please be advised that tipping for tour guides, drivers and bellmen are required and will be collected by your travel consultant 7 days before you depart. A gratuity of US$10 per person/day can make a big difference to locals employed in the tourism industry as they have done an impeccable job to serve you through your holiday.

Travel insurance is required to protect yourself against the unexpected.
Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 2 blank pages.
A visa is required for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation Group and just need to pay US$160 for single entry for Vietnam Visa.
Tour Documentation
Final documentation, including e-tickets and hotel details, will be provided approximately 30 days prior to travel.
Children
Children must be 2 years old or over and share a room with parents at all times. Children are the same price as adults.
Tour Length
The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.
