Yangon Discovery Tour

Start your trip with a sightseeing by car around the old colonial-style city center including Yangon City Hall (an impressive Burmese style building with multi-staged roofs called Pyatthat), Independence Monument (the most outstanding structure in the beautiful Maha Bandoola Park built to commemorate the independence of Myanmar from United Kingdom), the Strand Road (a major road contains many striking colonial style buildings) and Yangon Jetty.
Afterwards, we continue to Botahtaung Pagoda, a 40-meter high golden pagoda built 2,500 years ago, one of the city’s most revered temples. Followed by a visit to Ahma Mya Nan New (or whisper angel), a devotee was known as a dragon guarding the pagoda. Later, we head to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda for an enormous impressive 65-meter long Reclining Buddha image) and Karaweik Hall (Karaweik Palace), one of Yangon’s landmarks, designed to look like a huge golden barge floating on beautiful Kandawgyi Lake.
