Day 2: Hoi An Walking Tour
Cooking Class
Explore Hoi An’s bustling local market and other attractions with unique architectures such as Old Merchants’ House, a local Chinese Temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the peaceful Thu Bon River, one of the world’s famous trading port in the past. It will be an ideal day for you to learn about the fascinating stories and history of these ancient architectures.
Round off your trip with a cooking class and sample your efforts then.

Day 3: Hoi An Free Day
Explore the delights of this wonderful Hoi An town at your own pace.

The trip starts when our guide & car driver pick you up for the transfer. On arrival at the Ba Na mountain foot, we’ll travel by cable car up to the Marseille station. Get out and take a short walk to the Golden Bridge – a break point of the trip – to feel like walking on the clouds. Just newly opened to the public in early June 2018 the bridge which was built in the midst of the forest stands out in yellow. Noteworthy, this unique architecture with the bridge image supported by grey hands, creates a beautiful scenery surprised. Time for taking photos and enjoying the easy breeze, breathtaking view and afterwards, we’ll walk further to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour. The 9 gardens are 9 interesting stories in 9 unique architectural styles. These create a poetic and colourful space. Next, walk to visit Linh Ung Pagoda to admire its sophisticated architecture together with a 27m high Shakyamuni statue which brings us peaceful feeling as visiting this place. Finally, we’ll catch the cable car downhill and then transfer to Hoi An.
Optional Tra Que Vegetable Village – LunchObserve and try the local farming activities. Learn the process of planting vegetable such as raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables and many others. A light meal will be served during the tour.

Hanoi City Tour
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Hoi An before transferring to the airport for your scheduled flight to Hanoi. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in.
In the afternoon, take a half day Hanoi City Tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (photo spot only, a monumental edifice built to commemorate the Vietnamese Revolutionary leader), One Pillar Pagoda (one of Vietnam’s two most iconic temples), Temple of Literature (known as the first university of Vietnam) and Tran Quoc Pagoda (one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). The evening is free at your leisure.

Day 5: Hanoi
Halong Bay
Today, you will take a 3.5-hour transfer by bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay, “a spectacular seascape sculpted by nature” by UNESCO due to its breathtaking caves and limestone pillars sitting on the water. Upon arrival, you will board a ship to explore the stunning scenery with a myriad of mysterious caves of all shapes and sizes.

Day 6: Halong Bay

Luang Prabang
The Halong Bay tour continues today with a morning spent cruising on to the Man’s Head, Tortoise Islands and then Luon Cave by small bamboo boat. After brunch, continue to travel through Bai Tu Long to Bai Chay before disembarking.
Then, get transferred to Hanoi Airports for a flight to Luang Prabang.

At one of Hanoi's authentic restaurants, you will be able to taste the difference of Australian beef prepared and wise tasting by the talented hands of local chefs. When you join this program, you will enjoy dishes prepared in a special Vietnamese style, as well as spices that you can hardly find at home, which is unlike anything you have ever experienced or done before. As a result, it will be ideal if you pair it with the best local red wine or bottles of wine directly imported from Australia (extra fee services). We believe that when you return home, you will realize that while Australian beef products appear ordinary, they are produced and used in a very unique way in another country.
Day 7: Luang Prabang
Pak Ou Caves
This morning embark on an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These two linked caves are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 8: Luang Prabang City Tour
Siem Reap
Wake up early to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms-giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets. From there, we will visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace. Just set on the ground, the local people come here to barter their day’s catch from rice to vegetable, to fish, or chicken. This is the best chance to experience the flavour of local life. After breakfast, we ascend to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, you will visit Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. Your city tour continues with a visit to the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, a superb piece of Lao temple architecture, which presents a sweeping two-tiered roof and ornate mosaics including a beautiful ‘tree of life ‘glass montage on the rear temple wall.
Then, transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem Reap, the gateways into the Khmer Temples. On arrival, pick up & transfer to the hotel to check in. The rest of day is at your leisure.

Day 9: Siem Reap
Angkor Temples Complex
Spend a full day discovering the mystical Angkor temples. The world heritage site with soaring towers and extraordinary bas-reliefs. It is one of the most amazing man-made monuments in the world. Visit Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm Monastery, Angkor Thom, Bayon and the Elephant Terrace.

Day 10: Siem Reap
Saigon
Spend the morning to explore Siem Reap at your own pace. Late in the afternoon, take a flight to Saigon which is known as the oriental pearl. On arrival, check in your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

You’ll be picked up at your hotel to start your Tonle Sap Lake tour which includes a visit to a floating village where you’ll enjoy watching seasonal activities of Cambodian agriculture and aquaculture. Tonle Sap Lake, or “Great Lake”, is a magnificent natural water wonder. During the high water level season (August – November), the lake expands to 2,600 square kilometers in size and becomes the biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Being rich and bio-diverse, the lake has been able supply the whole civilization floating on it, since ancient times.
Day 11: Saigon City Tour
Cu Chi Tunnels
After breakfast, spend your half day for a Saigon City tour to many highlights such as Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office (photo spot only), War Remnant Museum and have fun shopping at Ben Thanh market. In the afternoon, continue to Cu Chi Tunnels, a byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers and booby traps used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong during Vietnam-US war. The tunnel system had become legendary during the 1960s as a strategic military base and underground community life.

Day 12: Saigon Free Day

Embark on a cruise to Ben Tre river and visit brickwork, coconut processing workshop, a local village making sleep mattresses. Continue taking a motor cart (xe lôi) or cycling through the green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch is served at the restaurant riverside. In the afternoon, sail through water palm creek by rowboat and get back to Hung Vuong Pier for departing to Saigon.

Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 2 blank pages.
Australian passport holder is required to have a visa for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation group and just need to pay AUD250 for Vietnam visa Multiple Entry.
Once approved, please ensure that you travel with the following documentation as they are required to present to customs upon arrival into the country.

- Return economy airfare is supplied per voucher (including 1 x 30 kg checked baggage and 7 kg hand baggage per passenger).
- Customers must send us the electrical copy of passport by scanning or taking the first page of your passport. By this way, we could secure the accuracy of your personal information to make proper reservation for you.
- The airfare is non-refundable at all times.
Flights
- Flight itineraries will be provided only 30 days prior to departure. If you book our tour packages within 30 days, your flight itinerary will be provided within 7 days.
- Airline schedule may change or cancel before the itinerary and it is beyond our control. We will try utmost to assist our customers, however, the customers are also responsible for reviewing your flight schedule prior to the departure. Moreover, you can contact your Travel Insurance provider to check whether you are covered by your policy.
Arriving early/Extending your trip: From $200 per person is applied for trip extension or early arrivals (subject to availability and applicable fare difference).
