Fly to Beijing, the capital city of China, via a connecting city. On arrival, you will be warmly greeted at the airport by your tour guide for the transfer to your hotel.

Today is a leisure day to see Beijing at your own pace. Get to know the city by taking in the stunning sights and treating yourself to some delicious local fare!

Today’s highlight is an excursion to the majestic “Great Wall “(Juyongguan Section), one of the Seven Wonders of the World! No, you can’t see it from outer space, but it is big – very big. You’ll get a chance to climb a portion of this 3,700 mile marvel.
And you’ll also visit one of the largest Jade Exhibitions in Asia, enroute.
Later in the day, you could take one of our suggested Optional Tours.

This morning you’ll visit a Chinese Herbal Institute to discover and participate in learning about this ancient way of healing.
Afterwards you’ll enjoy some free time in a Beijing shopping mall where you can find a broad choice of local and world famous brands. Alternatively, you can join our optional tour to Temple of Heaven and step back in time to discover the history of the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. This afternoon you’ll board the bullet train and travel to Wuxi. On your arrival, our local representative will meet you at the Wuxi Railway Station for your transfer to the hotel.

This morning, you’ll begin your day with a visit to what is appropriately called “the Brilliance of Lake Lihu”, located at the famous Lake Taihu. This will be followed by a visit to one of China’s largest freshwater pearl exhibitions, before travelling by coach on to Suzhou for the night.
The beauty of this gorgeous city has served as inspiration for generations of Chinese poets and writers. Suzhou earned itself the nickname ‘Garden City’ thanks to its myriad classical gardens, including the famous Lingering Garden – a stop on today’s itinerary.

After breakfast and check-out, learn about one of the world’s most luxurious textiles – silk – and how it is produced and created at a working silk-spinning mill. T
We then travel to Hangzhou by coach. Marco Polo was one of Hangzhou’s most famous fans; he named this city as one of the most beautiful he’d seen in the world. Your time in Hangzhou begins with a boat ride on West Lake, from which you’ll be able to see some of the city’s best-known historical and cultural sites.

There is a tea-tasting experience on the agenda this morning and once you have sipped and swirled your cup of green tea we venture on to Shanghai via coach. This energetic city is one of the commercial centres of China and on arrival,  there is a walk along the Bund, a mile-long promenade along  the Huangpu River. This stroll is one of the best ways to admire Shanghai’s mix of colonial architecture, European influences and modern design.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.

This morning, you’ll visit the Shanghai Museum to see some of China’s greatest, ancient art treasures.
