Day 2: Siem Reap
Angkor Temples
Spend a full day discovering the mystical Angkor temples. Your day starts with a visit to Angkor Wat, then we will visit the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) beginning by the south gate and the famous Bayon of the 12th and 13th centuries. Then, journey to the Elephant Terrace and the raised Leper King Terrace, built in the 12th century and which features many beautifully sculptured Apsara.
At dinner, we honour our guests with an “Apsara Dance”.

Day 3: Siem Reap
Angkor National Museum
After breakfast, visit Angkor National Museum – where the history revealed.
Angkor National Museum – The Legend Revealed During the Golden Era of the Khmer Kingdom, one of the ancient civilizations of this world was being created. It was the origin of Khmer art, culture, and architecture. These great inventions became one of the few wonders of the world that still amaze people throughout generations that still hold a great impact in present Cambodia society. Angkor National Museum takes pride in revealing the royal historical path of this Golden Era of the Khmer Kingdom through state of the art multimedia technology to provide visitors a full pictorial story of the legend for easy comprehension. Angkor National Museum will take its visitors through the journey back in time from the creation to the highest point of Khmer civilization. Through the use of interactive exhibits, visitors will develop a deeper understanding of customs, traditions and different beliefs of the ancient empire.

Day 4: Siem Reap

Day 6: Luang Prabang city Tour
Today you will have the chance to visit some of the Buddhist temples that the region is so famous for. Start the trip with a visit to the National Museum, the former Royal Palace which houses a collection of valuables, including the famous Prabang Buddha statue and gifts received from foreign dignitaries. Then, continue to Wat Visoun, considered the oldest operating temple in Luang Prabang. Later, visit Wat Aham and Wat Xieng Thong, the crowning jewel of all the monasteries in the region.
Next, we will visit TAEC Cafe, located inside the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Center (TAE), and take a tour of TAEC, a museum dedicated to exploring the rich diversity of Laos ethnic minorities. Traditional costumes, tools, and artifacts are on display alongside in-depth descriptions and written histories. It is a great opportunity to gain insight into the Lao people.
In the afternoon climb Mount Phousi, rising 150 metres above the centre of town, from the summit you can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree outlook across the city and its many temples. Admire sunset before heading back down to the hotel where you will be on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Luang Prabang
Pak Ou Cave – Kuang Si Waterfall
This morning embark on an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves.
These two linked caves are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make local rice wine. Relax and enjoy the leisurely cruise back to Luang Prabang.
Upon arrival in the city, we will go directly to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. On our way back to Luang Prabang, we stop to visit the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park, a must-visit spot where you can have an optional 15-minute tour to learn about butterflies and local flora

Day 9: Hanoi
Halong Bay
Today, you will take a 3.5-hour transfer by bus from Hanoi to Halong Bay, “a spectacular seascape sculpted by nature” by UNESCO due to its breathtaking caves and limestone pillars sitting on the water. Upon arrival, you will board a ship to explore the stunning scenery with a myriad of mysterious caves of all shapes and sizes.

Day 10: Halong Bay
Hanoi
The Halong Bay tour continues today with a morning spent cruising on to the Man’s Head, Tortoise Islands and then Luon Cave by small bamboo boat. After brunch, continue to travel through Bai Tu Long to Bai Chay before disembarking.
Transfer to hotel Hanoi, free at your leisure.
Meal: Brunch.
Enjoy a walk around the Old Quarter in the afternoon and have a taste of Northern Vietnamese delicacies such as stuffed pancake, Banh My, stuffed sticky rice balls, the unique egg coffee and many more.
Day 11: Hanoi Free Day
Spend a day at your leisure.

In the morning, arrive in Hoa Lu and start exploring the ancient kingdom with thousand-year-old buildings. Visit the famous temples worshipping the kings of Dinh & Le Dynasties before proceeding to Tam Coc. Upon arrival, enjoy your lunch before embarking on a boat trip to witness the exquisiteness of the karst formations and caves. We will travel back to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Day 12: Hanoi City Tour

This morning, you will take a half day Hanoi City Tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (photo spot only, a monumental edifice built to commemorate the Vietnamese Revolutionary leader), One Pillar Pagoda (one of Vietnam’s two most iconic temples), Temple of Literature (known as the first university of Vietnam) and Tran Quoc Pagoda (one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). In the afternoon, get ready for a flight to Da Nang, then, a transfer to Hoi An Old Town.

Day 13: Hoi An walking tour
Explore Hoi An’s bustling local market and other attractions with unique architecture such as Old Merchants’ House, a local Chinese Temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the peaceful Thu Bon River, one of the world’s famous trading port in the past. It will be an ideal day for you to learn about the fascinating stories and history of these ancient architectures.

Day 17: Hoi An

Embark on a cruise to Ben Tre river and visit brickwork, coconut processing workshop, a local village making sleep mattresses. Continue taking a motor cart (xe lôi) or cycling through the green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch is served at the restaurant riverside. In the afternoon, sail through water palm creek by rowboat and get back to Hung Vuong Pier for departing to Saigon.

How to Extend Your Stay
Some customers like to enhance their holiday by extending their stay before/behind and/or post-tour. $200 per person is applied for trip extension or early arrivals.
If you wish to do so, please follow these steps:

Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Please be advised that tipping for tour guides, drivers and bellmen are required and will be collected by your travel consultant 7 days before you depart. Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 6 blank pages.
Australian passport holder is required to have a visa for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation group and just need to pay AUD160 for Vietnam visa single entry.
Once approved, please ensure that you travel with the following documentation as they are required to present to customs upon arrival into the country.

For Cambodia/Laos, you will obtain your visa when crossing the border from Vietnam to Cambodia. The cost of the Cambodian/Laos Visa is around USD$37 per person.

- Airline: Thai Airways or similar (20kg for checked baggage per passenger and 7kg hand luggage per passenger, 01-piece check-in baggage each person only
- Some flights will require a minimum of 1 transit (maximum 2).
- All tickets will include 20 kilos checked baggage per person, along with 7 kilos of hand luggage.
- Despite the airlines baggage allowance, we recommend travelling with 20 kilos per person due to restrictions with internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Also, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters is not included. If travelling over this amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable direct.
- Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable. Any changes will be subject to the airline rules and change fees.
