Today you will travel by coach through the rich farm land of the Red River Delta to arrive at Halong Bay. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, Halong Bay’s spectacular scatter of islands, dotted with wind- and wave-eroded grottoes, is a vision of ethereal beauty. Upon arrival you will board a ship to visit thousands of limestone islands filled with caves of all shapes and sizes. The sail of junks and sampans gliding along the clear and emerald waters of the bay form a magnificent scene that blends into the sky. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the hidden grottoes beneath the towering cliffs.

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands, a sight not to be missed, especially if you are into photography. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong Bay. Your driver will meet you at the Halong jetty then drive to Hanoi.The remainder of the day is at leisure. Why not explore the Old Quarter for shopping, bars and restaurants.

This morning, take a city tour of Hanoi and will explore attractions such as the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda) and Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam.From here you’ll board a short flight to Hue. On arrival, you’ll be met by the hotel’s representative at Hue airport and transferred (arranged by hotel) to Alba Wellness resort – a haven of tranquility and the ultimate destination for physical and mental wellbeing.
Home to mineral rich hot springs, Japanese Onsen baths, landscaped gardens, and fragrant eucalyptus plantations, this sanctuary of serenity offers luxury accommodation and the perfect environment to relax and recharge in a setting completely at harmony with nature.

Check out and leave Hue behind you as you make your way to Hoi An. Today’s trip takes you over the famous Hai Van Pass which crosses over a spur of the Annamite Range that emerges from the west and juts into the South China Sea, forming the Hai Van Peninsula and the adjoining Son Tra Island.
On the other side of the pass, you will be transferred to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Hoi An. As an important trading route during the 15th to 19th centuries, Hoi An is now a unique blend of culture, cuisine and architecture.
This afternoon you will explore Hoi An on foot, visiting an old merchant’s home, Hoi An Market, a local Chinese temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge. The bridge was first constructed here in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters. Over the centuries the ornamentation has remained relatively faithful to the original Japanese design. The French flattened out the roadway for cars, but the original arched shape was restored in 1986. Rest of the day is free to explore the town or enjoy the swimming pool. Overnight in Hoi An.

How to Extend Your Stay
Please write this special request when you have made the booking with us or you are able to contact to one of our Travel Consultants to do for you.
If you wish to do so, please follow these steps:

- Here, please specify your preferred flight arrangements and if you require additional accommodation, with the number of nights needed.
- After finalizing your purchase and submitting your booking form, a member of our Reservation team will be in contact with you via email to verify your request.
Please note, a supplement from AU$200 per person (plus any applicable fare and tax differences) applies to deviate from the standard itinerary. We will contact you via email with a quote and proposed flight itinerary, and then proceed with collecting the additional payment required to confirm your request.
The additional cost for these land arrangements will be added to your final payment invoice, due 90 days prior to departure, and is strictly subject to availability.

Tipping
A friendly reminder that tipping is not included in your package. Please be advised that tipping for tour guides, drivers and bellmen are required and will be collected by your travel consultant 7 days before you depart. A gratuity of 10AUD per person/day can make a big difference to locals employed in the tourism industry as they have done an impeccable job to serve you through your holiday.

Visa & Passport information
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport. The passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from the intended date of return and must have more than 2 blank pages.
Australian passport holder is required to have a visa for travel to Vietnam. The visa is easiest to complete with Asia Vacation group and just need to pay AUD160 for Vietnam visa single entry.
Once approved, please ensure that you travel with the following documentation as they are required to present to customs upon arrival into the country.
Tourists who are travelling with Australian Passports are not required to have an Entry Visa to enter Singapore. However, they must fulfil the following entry requirements:
- A passport with at least 6 months’ validity at the intended date of arrival in Singapore
- Sufficient funds to last for the intended period of stay in Singapore
- Confirmed onward/return tickets (where applicable)
- Entry facilities to their onward destinations, e.g. visas.
- Completed Disembarkation/Embarkation Card
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, if applicable

Tour Documentation
Final documentation, including e-tickets and hotel details, will be provided approximately 30 days prior to travel.
Children
Children must be 2 years old or over and share a room with parents at all times. Children are the same price as adults.
Tour Length
The total length of the tour in days includes time spent in flight and is subject to change depending on the flight schedule, please refer to the day by day itinerary for the time spent on land.
Asia Vacation Group shall not deliver a refund for any delay or change in program or expenses incurred or injury and damage due to airlines, accident, breakdown of transport and sickness.
In some cases, your chosen extra tours may be canceled by Asia Vacation Group due to force majeure you may choose to change to other alternative tour OR receive a coupon equal to the amount you paid for it. The difference in cost of the alternative tour will be paid by you or transferred to a coupon as applicable. This coupon is issued after the tour and is valid for two years. It is valid for any tour by Asia Vacation Group and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Airfare Information
- Airline: Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines or similar (30kg for checked baggage per passenger and 7kg hand luggage per passenger, 01-piece check-in baggage each person only
- Some flights will require a minimum of 1 transit (maximum 2).
- All tickets will include 20 kilos checked baggage per person, along with 7 kilos of hand luggage.
- Despite the airlines baggage allowance, we recommend travelling with 20 kilos per person due to restrictions with internal flights (where applicable), as well as coach and train transportation. Also, you will be responsible for handling your luggage at all times as the services of porters is not included. If travelling over this amount, you will be liable for any excess baggage fees enforced by the airline, payable direct.
- Once ticketed, flights are non-refundable. Any changes will be subject to the airline rules and change fees.
- Full names as per passport (including all middle names) are required.
- Any airline schedule changes or cancellations are beyond our control.
- Any airline ‘extras’ such as pre-allocated seating is at your own arrangement (additional charges apply)
Premium Economy or Business Class upgrades
- Business Class upgrade available from an additional $3,000 per person (subject to availability).
